This town planning case concerns a Green Belt site undergoing an Application for Permission under Section 16 of the Town Planning Ordinance (Cap. 131) to enable the installation of essential utilities. The proposed works on the sloped site included various elements, such as pole-mounted transformer, underground cables, water supply pipes, telecommunication infrastructure, other utilities ducting, and tree replanting.
We were appointed to draft the application planning statement, incorporating the technical inputs from various professionals, including landscape architects, engineers, and building surveyors for this Green Belt site, having one of the most restrictive forms of urban planning and containment policy in Hong Kong.
